Born and raised in Delhi. Consulting and strategy at ZS, Bain, RTP Global and Strategy& (PwC), then product at Property Finder. Today I work at Smart Bricks, an AI lab for real estate: one of the largest asset classes in the world, still running on WhatsApp threads and Excel sheets. That gap is what I work on.

Bets

I figured out early that I wasn't the overachiever in the room. So I stopped competing the conventional way.

Unconventional calls, backed by patterns and data rather than gut feel

Consulting to product, in a new country
Strategy& (PwC) to Property Finder, 2025
Safe option

Stay in strategy consulting in India and keep climbing a ladder I already knew

What I chose

Move to Dubai and join Property Finder in product and strategy

  • New industry
  • Product role, no technical background
  • New country, no friends or backup

Three bets stacked into one move. With no network to fall back on, the only option was to learn fast and make it work.

An established company to a blank page
Property Finder to Smart Bricks, 2026
Safe option

Stay at a known, established company with clear structure

What I chose

Join Smart Bricks at its very earliest stage, before it had even raised a seed round

  • No playbook
  • Unstructured problems
  • Outcome unknown

Unstructured problem-solving is what I crave. An early-stage company is all of it, every day, and the last two years have been the steepest growth of my career.

How I place a bet
Every decision
Going on instinct

Make the call that feels right and hope the gut is good

What I do

Look for the pattern, connect the dots, then move on the data

I invest in Indian and global equity markets. Markets punish guessing and reward patience, and that habit carries into every career and work decision I make.

Mistakes

Learn it once. Don't repeat it.

I've made plenty. These three changed how I work

Coasting through my board examsSchool
What happened

I didn't study as hard as I should have, and missed the top colleges I wanted.

What I got wrong

It didn't feel like a big deal then. Later I saw how much the people around you push you forward.

What I did next

At college I went all in: extra certificates, projects and internships. I applied off-campus for months and landed a job at a firm that only recruited from the university's top three colleges.

RuleThe room you're in shapes you. If you're not in the right one, out-work your way into it.
Missing the pre-placement offer at BainMBA internship, 2023
What happened

I didn't get the PPO. It wasn't effort or attitude.

What I got wrong

The feedback: my work was missing 80/20. I gave everything equal effort instead of the few things that mattered most.

What I do now

Prioritise hard. Put the effort in the right basket, at the right time.

RuleEffort is not the output. The right 20% is.
Promising a voice AI agent in seven daysSmart Bricks, 2026
What happened

Excited about an AI voice calling agent, I committed to a seven-day timeline.

What I got wrong

I hadn't scoped compliance rules, training iterations, inbound call mocks or a pilot run. I caught up on most, but compliance was the piece I missed, and it took a lot of time.

What I do now

Map every scenario before I commit, so the plan is mutually exclusive and collectively exhaustive. Then give the date.

RuleNever let excitement set the deadline. Scope first, then promise.
The rules I kept
  1. Choose the room carefully, then out-work it
  2. 80/20 everything
  3. Scope it MECE before you commit a date

Teaching an AI to make the first call

LiveInbound and outbound leads
New sign-ups needed a quick qualifying call: why they're investing, budget, financing, timeline and how they want to be contacted. Doing that by hand meant slow callbacks and leads going cold.

The seven-day promise I made on this project is in Mistakes, above.

Turning our AI Advisor into a product agencies can sell as their own

32,294Registered Dubai brokers, public DLD data

5 to 6Tools a broker juggles daily
Dubai brokers switch between five or six tools a day to search, build proposals and manage offers. Our AI Advisor already answered investors' property questions with data. The question my CEO gave me: could the biggest agencies run it under their own brand, and would they pay for it?
